About the Program

Many families want their child to memorize the Quran but are not ready to leave full time school to do it. Part-Time Hifdh is built for exactly those families. It is serious memorization that runs around the school day, four afternoons a week, so a child carries both their education and their Hifdh at once.
Students are placed by reading level, taught in small groups, and moved forward only when their memorization is sound and their Tajweed is correct. Every child is known by name, and every parent is kept in the picture.

What is the difference between the Qaidah and Hifdh tracks?
Qaidah builds correct, fluent reading of the Mushaf, the foundation for everything that follows. Hifdh is formal memorization, with new lessons balanced against daily revision. A child who is not yet reading fluently begins in Qaidah and moves into Hifdh when ready.
My child is in full time school. When are classes?
Classes run Monday to Thursday, after the school day, so a child keeps their regular schooling and adds serious Hifdh around it. Exact times are confirmed against the prayer schedule for the year and posted here.
How do you make sure the Tajweed is correct?
Every group is led by a qualified Hafidh, and nothing is passed until it is pronounced correctly. Tajweed is corrected from the first day, so memorization is built on sound recitation.
Are boys and girls taught separately?
Yes. Boys and girls are taught in separate groups, each with qualified teachers, in keeping with the standard of every Darul Huda program.
How is memorized Quran kept from fading?
Through revision built into every session and a simple daily plan for home. Recent and older portions are revisited constantly, so the Quran a child memorizes stays with them.
My child has never memorized before. Can they join?
Yes. Every new student is assessed and placed where they belong. A child still learning to read begins with Qaidah, and one who reads fluently can begin Hifdh.
