What Echoes of Faith Is

A Jumuah khutbah inspires but cannot teach a subject. A full program asks for years. Echoes of Faith sits in between: eight evenings on a single practical area of your Deen, taught at real depth by qualified scholars, with a clear beginning and a clear end.
Each course runs about eight weeks, one evening a week, in person at Darul Huda, with separate sections for men and women. Every course ends with a printed certificate, and every course opens a door to the next.

The Yearly Rhythm

Three courses a year, in fixed seasons, so the community always knows when the next one comes.
Fall
A rotating topic from the course bank opens the year, from a Surah journey to the fiqh of daily life.
Winter
Understanding Zakah, held every year and finished before Ramadhan, so you apply it the same season.

A second topic after Ramadhan, often led by a visiting scholar, closing the year with depth.

How long is each course?
About eight weeks, one evening a week, roughly ninety minutes an evening. Each course stands on its own with a clear beginning and end, so you commit to one subject at a time.
Do I need any background to attend?
No. Echoes courses are written for adults of every background, from those returning to their Deen to those who already study. Each subject is taught from the ground up.
Is it for men and women?
Yes. Both attend, in separate sections with separate entrances. Questions from the women’s section are taken in writing and answered in the room.
What is the first course?
The series opens this fall with Echoes of Halal and Haram: eight evenings on what is permitted and what is not, across food, work, money, and the home. Exact dates and the time are being confirmed and posted here.
Will the sessions be recorded or online?
Courses are in person only. The benefit of Echoes is the room and the presence of a teacher. There is no online or recorded enrollment.
